About the Course & Department
Netaji Subhash Engineering College offers a three-year Diploma course in Civil Engineering which comes under the State Council of Technical Education, approved by AICTE. The main aim of the department is to prepare high quality professionals (diploma holders) by emphasizing on competency-based education and personalized learning process. The department also aims at preparing the foundation for students to opt for higher studies after completing their diploma.

In order to get the students accustomed to the practical world of Civil Engineering, the department provides best state of the art laboratories like Geotechnical Engineering Lab, Concrete Technology Lab, Transportation Engineering Lab, Solid Mechanics Lab etc. During the course, students will also get the facility of participating in Industrial visits, Industrial trainings in several reputed organisations which will enhance their practical knowhow of this domain.

Throughout the 3 years diploma course, students will get an opportunity to interact and communicate with our highly qualified and experienced teaching fraternity who will guide them to the right direction. Scope of one-to-one interaction via mentoring and arrangement of special classes for providing guidance regarding competitive exams are the special additional facilities that the students will get in this department.
